Alternatively, get a longer bolt and fit them onto the middle engine mount. It does mean cutting the fairing, but due to the positioning offers a lot more protection. I had R and G's on my race bike, and the one on the right side just snapped off when I dropped it. Just a thought :D http://www.bikeb...

Racing at Aintree

Anyone in the North West?

I'm out on the Storm this weekend, 14 August, so come along and say hello.

I'm No90 and probably the only Storm there.

Cheers

According to Roger at Revolution, a Fireblade master cylinder is the one to go for. :D

Just got my race Storm back from Roger. Due to race at start of August. I've got a Penske, it's a road shock apparently, but has been worked by Roger as have the forks. The shock was excellent before, so should be a whole lot better, if that's possible. Pay the money for Penske, it's what the BSB bi...

Reg/Rec

:) There's a thread on here somewhere about replacing the reg/rec with one from an R1. I've spoken to Roger at Revolution and he said a unit from a CX500 is the one to go for, it's what they ran on the SBK, so it must be right. And, I got one for £20 from a breakers, loads cheaper than an R1 one.

Hi Ben,

Used them on my Gixer with EBC supersport discs on the IOM in the Manx, and they were great. Good initial feel and no hot fade. A little more abrasive than EBC's but worth the trade off.

 That's the thing stevie, you talk to the tyre fitters. It's like talking to a mechanic, they'll only ever tell you about the bad motors. All you can do is try these things for yerself. Seriously, you really should go to FWR, they will gaurantee to beat any like for like quote, and they're not...

Web Advice

:D Can anyone help with advice on uploading images to my site?
I think I'm uploading to the FTP into an images file that's been created, so how do I make a link to the picture using the web editor?
Also, how do I make images into thumbnails?

Too much?, hope not.

Cheers

:( Good to hear you're making the trip, Cadwell is , along with Oulton, a top track to watch at. I won't be there cos of my off at Snetterton. Bikes OK, but I've angered my back injury, broke it a couple of years ago, so I'm out for a while. I must admit I was struggling with the gear change. I was ...
