First experience of a bike was on the back of my Uncle's Triumph Bonneville, I must have been 8 or 9. I remember trying to hang on to the bike and to the adult crash helmet I had on as he did what felt like 100's of miles an hour up his local dual carriageway. My mum said that I came back white as a...

Hopefully I don't come under the "to55ers in the 'The City'" banner, thanks RedStormV!!! :) Nah mate I don't think so, not unless you work on t' stock market, have very poor taste in clothes and drinks and are currently worried in case you're into negative equity ... again! What's w...

My scores weren't helped by Karl Harris. What a day for him. An engine problem in race 1 when 3rd, then catching a flying Suzuki in your mouth after being run off the track a few corners earlier in race 2. He's quoted as only having 'sore wrists and ankles' as well. Bloody lucky after being hit by a...

I've had various jobs ranging from bike courier for the BBC to transport manager for a print firm to Met Police Officer. I've spent the last six years working for Legal & General in investment products, unit trusts and ISAs that sort of thing. I hope Stratman's company's selling some of our prod...

Indeed I am. I'd be up for a meet but weather needs to improve and my house sale needs to go through. One of my brother's also has a storm but he aint on this forum (or any other for that matter) but sure he would come along too. I agree, be good to meet once footy's over and the weather's better. ...

Frankie of course! Remember the race at Mugello where the track dried, he was 11 secs down on Laconi with only a few laps to go, but he won? That was entertainment I remember it well, fantastic race. He was a hell of a rider, there were some great Ducati battles between him and Foggy. Last corner a...

12,000 mile service. On bread and water now!

As I'll be ditching the train and commuting into London on the silver dream machine from next week, I took it to Doble Honda for a 12k service yesterday. As it's the first service since I've owned it (and it didn't have a service history) I thought it best to take it to a Honda dealer. Ouch! £360 f...

Doc and Tony,

There obviously aren't any other Storm owners south of Birmingham then.

It's just the three of us!

By my dodgy maths our average age is (drumroll)....................

the big 4 0!!

49 of us with a combined age of 1,975. The youngest is 21 and the oldest 63.

As with many things in life, that makes me just below average!!

Mine's from football. As my surname's Donnelly you couldn't do the usual high-brow footballer thinking by adding a 'y' at the end (Boothy, Wrighty etc) so I became Donners.

Bloody Carlos Checa! Lived up to his old name 'Careless Chucka'!!

I left Bayliss out and brought in Checa and Neukirchner for this round.

Oh well, never mind. At least they won't be messing around with the rules again.

Anyone going to World Super's at Brands Hatch this year?

Anyone around in the South?

With my football season coming to an end this month I'll have more time to get out and about on the bike.

Are there any organised meets in the South? A lot of you seem to get together further North, but there's not much from anyone in the South London/Surrey area.

Be good to meet other 'stormers'.
