Mines an old nickname....i have very skinny legs like Sparrowlegs legs, but its a bit pants now as i'm 6ft 2" with skinny legs but Flamingo legs don't have the same ring as Sparrowlegs

Mine was being advertised on tv when I was trying to think of a name, although spelling changed to prevent copyright theft. As if they'd have the guts to come after me

Mine's from football. As my surname's Donnelly you couldn't do the usual high-brow footballer thinking by adding a 'y' at the end (Boothy, Wrighty etc) so I became Donners.

Mine is cuz i am 6ft 2 and weigh 17stone, and every where i have worked and lived there has been another steve smaller than me (lucky sods).
So when being spoken of i have always been "Big Steve" ....Sorry ladies no hidden meanings

After messing about trying to get various White Rose or Yorkshire combos accepted I decided to take the name of my rescue mutt Beamish, pretty safe bet, very few refusals since.

Aye,...but in Oz you dont even call motorcyclists "bikers"....is it not "bikies" you call em??.......i suppose if i was there i'd be called bikiepikie
