I guess your PA is a modern version of the air horns popular way back when I was a kiddlipuw. Some must've needed quite a few horns-Dukes of Hazzard tune has 12 notes (I think).

Ayup. S'pose a headlight cover gives lens protection, too. (coming from someone lucky enough to be following a Blade a bit too close, after the road was 'dressed' with chippings..) Anyway, back to the story.. I use a yellow bulb in mine. Looks good- black Strorm, yellow decals. Light output not real...

Hi Adam, Firestorm is a roadbike and its midrange characteristics mean its 100 odd ponies are more useable more of the time. You really do have to ride one to get just how different they are. I'm a bit out of your area (Congleton), but mine will be appearing on e-bay soon. A reluctant sale, but 'am ...

I have used Maxton Engineering a couple of times. Most recently, to rebuild my Firestorms forks. What a revelation! As standard, no amount of fiddling works. Using Performing Berks' settings help in some situations, but make them worse in others. Maxton are indeed excellent, but you'll be lucky to s...

Hi Essex Bloke, Mightn't be as relevant as you'd like, but as you say you need to lift a range of machines... I use an NWS Ulti-Pro. It's a sort of external centre stand (remember them?). connical pins go inside swing arm pivot points. from there it's a simple matter to put a block of wood under sum...

Hey Kaz, Thanks for that. Keep the gags coming! After one of those link-to-a-link ganders, I spotted a set of m. extenders on an American's 'bike. They were made of aluminium (nee aluminum!) by a Don Hervey, in the States. I will dig out the details. I will post a picture, too. Just give me a day or...

Mirrors.

Hi all. 'Joined some time ago-never got around to saying hello.
Last year I bought a set of mirror extenders, Al Hurvey I think.
Well made and effective.
As per Yellafella, it's good to know what's going on around you!
