I would simply relocate the led even if it is under the seat. On some systems if the remotes lose their coding or the alarm has a fault the led can be used with the ignition key to recover the system.

Fuel sender and cap from your 16l and need a fuel tap: either original for 19l if can find one (£180 new!) or gravity fed such as varadero (no tap). If use original also need take off which screws on bottom of 19l.
