Hi

Does the bigger fuel tank go straight on as a replacement or are there modifications to do..?

Yes - Have a search as it's a subject that often crops up.
It may be that your whole purpose in life is simply to serve as a warning to others.

No modifications to the tank itself off at all. It will fit straight on, but you will need other bits to get it working.

Fuel sender and cap from your 16l and need a fuel tap: either original for 19l if can find one (£180 new!) or gravity fed such as varadero (no tap). If use original also need take off which screws on bottom of 19l.
