Not all today (the mirror indi's were saturday).
Fitted new mirrors with integrated led indicators. The bases for mounting to the bike were a bit pony but on closer inspection and investigative disassembly
I found that the new mirror stems fitted on to the original honda mounts, happy days :D

Not everybodys cup of tea but i like them

Today was the coloured led lamps in the dashboard.
I kept to the original colours for the idiot lights i.e green for indicators, red for oil etc and went for red behind the rev counter, speedo and temp guage.
Wow the idiot lights are bright now!!! :D

Excuse the blurry pic, or not I'm not fussed

And i like the red clocks too

All the led lamps i bought were cheap as chips from china but only came in packs of 10! This means i have spares available if any one wants a couple. (Red, white, green and blue)
Pm if you want any, first come first served as usual :D

I was looking at integrated indicators/mirrors to replace knackered mirrors and a cracked indicator mount holes. Read on here that they were pants, but your's look all right.

Where were they from? I've got replacement mirrors but the indicator holes would be easier to just fill and blank off.

I got mine from evil bay.
Mixed reviews on these but for the price they're worth a go.
They also have amber led arrows which flash in the mirror glass when indicators are on. More visible to the rear plus you can see if you've left them flashing!
Like i said though the mounts are a bit rubbish so unbolt the standard ones and put them on these if you get them and they fit much better..
Not sure how to post evilbay links from my mobile but this is the item number for the ones i bought

Reassembled it, scraped some dead flies off the headlight lens, I'll ride it to work tomorrow and see if it breaks down.
If not, off to Wales.
If it does, fix it again and off to Wales....
It's not falling off, it's an upgrade opportunity.

As I suspected, I'd left an o ring off the speedo sensor.

I rode it to work today, nice journey in but it went onto front cylinder only about five miles from home, and cut out the second cylinder two hundred yards from home, coasted onto the drive.....result.
A fuse blew powering the fuel pump, they apparently draw more than two amps.
Fixed that, let's see how far I get.....
