Phone charger

Post by Miztaziggy »

I know some of you have these on your bikes, but I'm wondering where you connect the +ve to please?

I don't want it connected to the permanent live, just a switched live, preferably without stripping the bike down to find one?

Been and had a look and nothing there I can see.

Though I did find this under the seat, anyone know what this clip is for (or what it should be connected to?)

Mine is wired to my FZ1 fuse box.
I have it wired to two circuits, one hot all the time and one switched...wired to a dual pole switch. I leave the dual pole switch in the "Switched power" mode ..but have the key off mode available if I want to charge the phone, headset while parked.

That loose plug above the negotiate on the battery is the one [THUMBS UP SIGN]
One wire going to the frame (earth) and one going into the loom (live brake light switch)
