Hitting the apex

Post by Kev L »

Anyone else seen this? Really enjoyed the whole film, brilliant cinematography. Check out the extra section slow motion speed, to get an insight on the forces these guys overcome! 8O
I defy anyone not to be touched by the section on Marco. The shite he took for being too aggressive when compared to Marquez a couple of years later.
Film must have been stunning at a cinema. All in all a good watch

Hadn't even heard of this.

Was expecting to open up a you tube of someone actually "hitting" the apex head first or something.

Might have to give it a look see.
If it aint broke, get your bloody hands off it!

Have you seen love, speed & loss the story of Kim Newcombe in Gp's in the 70's.
Narrow edge is good as well looking at Agostini, Sheene, Read & Roberts.
The Doctor, The Tornado & The Kentucky kid is a more modern look at the Gp scene.

Not heard of the first two but have the last one, being a Rossi fan. I will have a look and buy them. I also have road, the story of Joey Dunlop it's a must for vtr owners, with the exception of finding an error in the movie, if you watch it tell me what you think the engine noise of from when you see the clip of Joey on the firestorm.

A bit unrelated really but my mate Stevie who came over to the Scotish op last August bought his storm from the Joey foundation..

for anybody who hasnt seen the film, Road, watch it, it will put a tear in your eye.
