CCT in Midlands (or close enough to travel to)

Post by SmileyVTR »

Hi guys,

Can't find any recent posts so apologies for bringing this up again...

Bought a 1998 VTR with 16k on the clock...so possibly moving into the CCT failure danger zone (16-20k).
Some say it's fun riding life on the edge, but I'll take some comfort!

I'll read the threads on here about which manual CCT to go for - but then there's the fitting.

Can anyone recommend someone/where for fitting these?

I'm Nottingham based but happy to travel for the right reason.

Cheers
Paul

If anyone fancies me at this time in the morning they must be weird..

I'm in the same boat, 16k and rising on a '98. I COULD do it myself but I don't have the time or the space. Any recommendations for the North East?

Aaah, Middlesbrough, the jewel in Sauron's crown.

You've missed the best bits. The finest beaches in England, the largest county with the smallest population. The best Salmon river and miles of biking roads with very little traffic. Plus.....

The girls in the Toon wear very lttle more than crop tops (and that's in the middle of winter).

Need I go on?

Oooh! Someone to love, AND a place to hang both sets of bike keys...

Scammel wheel nuts spring to mind...
If it ain't broken...f*ck about with it until it is.
