Insurance. Compare the ..... WTF!

Post by BigVeeGrin »

  these are the two best quotes moneysupermarket could come up with. Think the system has gone a bit wrong

btw - I for what it's worth, but potentially £300 quid in the event of a tumble here, I took the voluntary excess from £300 to £0 and the quote stayed the same

Don't get me started.

You should ring them up and see if they quote the same.

Bit of a difference there! I guess all websites are prone to glitches and whatnot, got this a few weeks back trying to see how much it would cost my friend if he moved onto a cbr600f in a few years time...

I have no pictures, but when I passed my test 2 years ago I did a quote for the zzr6 and I thought I would do a few off of my wish list. Aprilia rsv1000 £758 fully comp, zx10r £1300, gsxr1000 £17000 that's not a typo that is the best price anybody could give me for a gsxr1000, one years no claims and it was down to £1600 whereas the other two were down to about £580

this gets better

Best Quote from comparison sites = £65, provider is Swinton

Current insurance provider is Swinton and their best, "loyal customer you mean so much to us would love you to stay" quote = £123, including a £25 service charge for, I kid you not, "providing you with this priority service"

I'm with Carole Nash now. Not personally, you understand. I now pay the princely sum of £144 a year for both bikes, fully comp. protected NCD and European Breakdown included. They think that at my age I must be sensible and mature. Little do they know.....
