SP2 engine bolt removal for mushrooms

Started to fit Harris crash bobbins to my 04 Sp2 and am stuck removing the left hand engine bolt. Instructions say its a castellated nut but its actually a long allen bolt fitting on my bike with a small alloy ring around it at the head end and a pinch bolt holding the ring and bolt. it seems like it is firmly fixed as I can loosen the nut at the other end of the allen bolt but with a reasonable amount of force the allen bolt wont budge, Pinch clamp bolt is 10mm spanner size, cant get a socket on it but its tightened really tightly.

Can anyone tell me how to go about releasing the long allen bolt so i can replace with new Harris bolt.
