Danmoto Exhaust
Hi
Times being hard and all that, I was fancying spending a small amount of money on an after market exhaust. There's quite a few on ebay which seem to go for around £150 but I have seen some Danmoto exhausts on there for £200 brand new. I've viewed a few You Tube videos and they do sound canny. Has anybody out there fitted these exhausts and are they any good?

Re: Danmoto Exhaust
i'm only repeating what i've read buddy.
they're mega loud, even with baffles in, but the quality of the link pipes is poor which makes them a pain to fit, also if you ride throughout the year, the quality of the finish is iffy, so i doubt they will stand up to a couple of winters.
i came close to buying some myself.

Re: Danmoto Exhaust
Have you seen the SP Engineering ones on fleabay. I'm saving up for some of the carbon stubbies. They are £350 but the stainless ones are cheaper. Quality looks good and someone on here bought a set not long ago.
Re: Danmoto Exhaust
SP Engineering had a selection of their exhausts on show at one of the bike nights in Weston and they look bloody good

Re: Danmoto Exhaust
Thanks for the info lads, I think I'll be giving Mr Dan moto a bit of a wide berth. I do ride the Storm all year round and we're quite susceptible to the odd cold wintry day up here in the North East so they got to be durable.
SP seems to be the guys for me Fleabay here I come.
Cheers

I bought they SP ones and the quality seems first rate. they are loud with the baffles in and magic with them out! To
My neighbours may not agree To give you an idea of how loud, they will set off my car alarm without the baffles...........

Sadly I cant get a video to do them any justice. They come with baffles, but hey whats the point Also have the right "Street legal" markings, probably right with the baffles in...

Very tidy - like the footpeg hangers. What did you use?

Rear sets are gilles and my pipes are 280mm long plus end cap. I had 250 ark pipes and they made it run little funny
280 good size. They are loud
