All,
As a new firestorm owner, I need to know what speed my bike is doing when it's being very naughty, so critical to me is to know when I have reached 30mph & 70mph. The speedo is difficult to see with glasses , helmet, or streaming eyes.
I have attached a picture of a small modification that I have made, in normal riding position the dots line up perfectly,
Hope this helps someone with a steamey helmet, I am not being rude!
Bye for now, Cousid
Dot the speedo.
Re: Dot the speedo.
Good work, try yellow dots they will stand out more...
Then try it with the later clocks...

Re: Dot the speedo.
Just use a torque marker / paint pen and paint a line on the plastic outer bezel of the clock at the points you need, that's what I did when I was taking my I A M.
Because my final drive is one tooth down at the front and two teeth up at the rear, my clock is well out, and when you do the I A M you're speed has to be accurate
Plus with this method you can use what ever colour suites you best

Re: Dot the speedo.
To get the dots lined properly up you need to be doing 70 (and 30) mph. Must be difficult sticking them on at that speed...

Re: Dot the speedo.
Just tape your sat nav on temporarily and compare to the speed display on the Speedo
That's how I calibrated my Speedo healer

It's not falling off, it's an upgrade opportunity.
