My last South East ride

Post by StormyRob »

So today I had what I believe is my last ride in the South East. Have put 625 miles on the storm on the last week and was joined today by Vtrphoenix.

Was a decent day with decent weather. Started in Guildford. Then out to Petersfield, then to whiteways near Pulborough. Had a bite to eat and a little look around before heading along the A272 to Haywards Heath and up to pease pottage.
Obviously the storm needed to stop that one extra time for fuel!

I think it's a trend for Vtrphoenix. I just hope he never has a wheel fall off.

Bloody sidestand switch Kev, thing is I hadn't turned a screw on the Ace so can safely say not my doing.

Was a great day, with great weather and took in some great roads, just a shame about the other road users.

Riding up to Wales on 3rd may to get the boat but that's just to get the bike over and attend an induction. Then I'm back on 5th before final depart on 31st May. Not long.

The trials and tribulations of owning an orange storm (something to look forward to Duffy?)

Took Phoenix to get some fuel night before, parked up for the night, pulled her out in the morning to fire up and nothing. No dash or anything. 30amp fuse was blown, yep you've probably all guessed correctly, rr fuxed, it was fine so thinking a bad earth, replacement on order and also doing the additional earth mod as well. Also sanded off some powder coating from the subframe as don't think that was helping.

Also........ petcock diaphragm has gone, think it's where I removed the tap and it's dried out and cracked. Cheap replacement and why not at £10, probably still the original if I know the previous owner.
