Twin Twins

Post by Mav617 »

Fair to say the TRX has won my heart. Now what's better than a TRX, why two TRXs of course!

And the wife bought me a new Reg, so when I make one really good bike out of the two, it'll wear this:

I keep looking out for one of these as a potential track bike. Not that I have anywhere to put one, but I'm interested in them

The one on the left got a Michelin M59 tyre on, they must have stopped making them about 20 years ago, has it been off the road along time

I do like the looks and sound of the trx , the only thing that put me of getting one is they are slow !
An nc23 cbr400rr is faster and has cheaper tax and insurance .

Watched two friends having a "race" one on a trx and the other on the nc23 ,
The trx didn't stand a chance .
Both bikes were standard apart from cans.
If the trx had a bit more grunt , one would be on my wish list for sure

I thought that too Lloydie, however i met a Guy who had one with an R6 front end, YZF rear swing arm and WP shock and he was a riding God.

It had a pair of 2 Brothers cans and sounded awesome. i couldn't catch him on my Fazer 1000 unless i was on a straight road.
missing the noise, not the vibes. However never say never!

Hi guys,

yes Lloydie it's been off the road awhile hence I vanned it back home. Rear tyre is completely shot (side walls are fooked) but the engine has less than 30,000 Km and it starts and runs really well. Tempted to swap the engine, forks and swing-arm to mine, then put my blue-spots, R6 shock and FCR-41 carbs and nice wheels (Metz Z6) and take the best of the bodywork.
I'm so unlucky that if there is such a thing as re-incarnation I'll come back as me!
