good i expect, get a CCM RC30, there a blast for a short commute, high up, and great suspension as its all WP and good kit, I've seen some great ones for £1400 with both sets of wheels, i.e. supermoto and knobblys.

If I go via town it about 13.5 mile each way, motorway is 20 mile each way

It'll be a hoot through town on a DRZ SM that's for sure. Motorways are boring at the best of time, but on a single, its a bit too vibey for my liking,
