Re: Bet you can't guess what I want help with.
Working schedule is really making this a pain in the butt. I really need to get these CCT's done but I do not trust my self (or a garage) to do them alone. I know I keep going on about it but I ned to get em done before something goes wrong and then I'm truly screwed for a few weeks whilst I get it ...

ASV levers
Just got an absolute steal on a set of black asv shorty levers. Second hand but I don't mind that. Just a precautionary post before I start chucking em on. Is there anything I need to be aware of or can I just throw em on, adjust em to suit and away I go? this probably seems pointless to a lot of yo...

Re: Replacment side stand
Put the new stand on from the blackbird and it fits perfectly on the new bracket. No filing needed at it sits great. however there is a slight flex where the stand arm fits inside the bracket, much like the original storm one. I thought about putting a washer in the gap but it is too small to fit. I...

Re: Replacment side stand
It looks in very good nick. I'll chuck it on without the mod for now to see how bad it is. If i can get by without i wont bother modding. Triumphs are like it too sometimes. Losing the stand under the exhaust and clever hook of the toe can flick it out if mastered right.

Re: Replacment side stand
in an interesting swerve of opinions I have found a 2002 cbr1100xx side stand for 15 quid on eBay. looks ok, side stand switch is identical and it looks in good condition. I'll report back when it arrives and has been fitted. (I may use the storm bracket) anyone heard of any problems with this stand?

I've had the seat cowl on with it before, but it's difficult when taking seat on and off.
not a fan of the look either but it's really useful for pillions, luggage, and go pros

I know it sounds lazy but i would rather not ''mod' anything. Looking for more of a plug and play solution here.
