Trust me, the spread started when I was 15!
I took 40 as the age I could say what I wanted to who ever I chose, and have got into all sorts of trouble this year, so I guess the coming year I should ramp it up a bit!

Re: Dented exhaust pipe dyno runs
My thoughts are.... Where the pipes are squashed the diameter is smaller. Therefore as exhaust exit it helps to build up speed of the gasses passing, almost like holding the end of a hose pipe.. This also adds more back pressure which helps to recycle wasted fuel in the pipes for a second chance. I...

My Black storm for sale. SOLD
Now sold, thanks peeps. Genuinely shed a tear as it went off in a van. Gutted! Hi peeps. Bit sad about it, but it's done a couple of hundred miles since last MOT as I am now racing dinghys 3 times a week so don't have time to ride. I think I am ok putting an Ebay link to the ad with details? I have ...

Re: Is it possible to clean grease off brake pad face?
It'll burn off really quickly, clean with thinners first, just go careful (which you should be anyway on new pads). I have got various things on pads in the past when cleaning up calipers and pistons and never felt the slightest difference when riding or driving. Obviously just get a feel for them a...

Re: Cheap Chinese Ebay discs Neverland-2012
I have seen ebc hh pads do exactly that to ebc discs. I won't touch them again. Standard pads are much kinder to discs and perfectly fine for fast road use.

Re: Commuter - VanVan or TW125?
van van has rear wheel issues, they are too wide for the diameter and the spokes are at too much of an angle. they wear badly then start to break.

Re: Renntec rack/grab rail bracket
Yes I realise it's just the bracket, but that's what I'm asking about. i had one on my fazer, rated for 3kg but it was tube steel and I went to keswick and back with a wknds camping gear strapped to it. I know the storm ones are flimsier, just wondering how useable it is, just want a box that will h...

Re: Renntec rack/grab rail bracket
I've always been averse to fitting boxes on sports bikes, but I would ride mine much more if it had a box on it. How strong are they? Will they hold a decent size top box?

I have a mate looking for a storm, I'll ask him, but I need a price to tell him what you want for it.

Re: Faulty CCT pics if you have them...
Well that was a busy few days... Good to see plenty of posts providing food or thought... Some of the observations I have already witnessed, such as oil pouring from the rear CCT when loosening the bolt off at the back, and others I hadn't considered until just now like Sirch's observation where th...

Re: Faulty CCT pics if you have them...
Can I bring a bit of (hopefully) clarity here. I run a storm with manuals, I don't claim to be a storm expert, but I work in a garage with a business partner, and we build bikes together, now my partner has 30yrs service in honda workshops. I have tried arguing with him in the past, and to be frank ...
