Is it worth changing for the extra few miles you would get.I was always happy to stop and fill up after around 90/100 miles just to get a break.

😂

The 19l tank is a bonus but I wouldn’t spend a lot of time or money getting hold of one. My 03 F3 came with one in the UK but I know a lot markets didn’t get the big tank.

Stateside we only ever got the 16L tank. I’d love a 19L to be different!

Ebay is probably your best option, other than going around to the motorcycle breakers in person,

Chris.

Do you know anyone who's handy with sheetmetal and a welder...? I had an extra 2" of height added to an old tank and although I've never measured it accurately, I think it's good for around 22 litres.

The 'paint' on this was Photoshopped on as it's still not painted...

At one time Revolution Racing used to increase the tank capacity for Endurance race teams by slicing the tank and insertion a 20mm band to give 21 litres or a 30mm band to give 24 litres. They were affectionately nicknamed "the wedding cake tank"! There may be one or two left around if not, local metal workshops can do the job. Obviously the tank has to be repainted but that did not bother race teams as they usually painted them in their team colours anyway.
