Soapy water to find exhaust leak!!?

Post by TaxiDriver »

Noticed after a long caning that when I get home, take my lid off and ride it into the back garden that the right side can/exhaust is making an uneven popping and thuting noise that I never notice when out and about....
Can't see any cracks or owt so would soapy water [from cold startup] help locate any issues do you all think.......

Use a bit of thin tubing, such as aquarium tubing. Tape it to a long screwdriver and hold one end to your ear. You can then wave the other end around without burning yourself.
But it'll be the rear downpipe to the collector joint.
It's not falling off, it's an upgrade opportunity.

Was he naked in your vision, sitting at a piano?
Luckily, in my vision I'm blind, didn't see a thing. :D
