Back Up, Back Up, and Back Up.

Post by sirch345 »

I feel after reading about one of our unfortunate members losing his online motorcycle photo's, I have to say if you don't already you need to make copies of all of your photo's on your device(s) you use to surf the Internet with (mobiles, iPad's and computers etc). Or any other items (Video's etc, contact phone numbers) if you would be lost without them.

Your best option in my view is to use an external hard drive, or memory stick, or both even. Nothing in my opinion is 100%, so the more back-up's you have the better the chances are you'll never lose what you've backed up.

If you've been meaning to do this, but haven't yet, make the effort and do now before it's too late,

Chris.

I saved everything on an external hard drive.
Went to work..leaving it switched on..came back 2 weeks later...I work off the scottish mainland...and its fried.
Pulling the power supply I got a shock..its fkd and taken out the hdd.
Now im taking out the seagate drive and intend to try it in an old desktop I have in the garage.
