2022 Irish meeting 22nd July

Post by cheekykev »

I know it's very early in the year, but I'm Just putting the feelers out to see if anyone is interested in attending the Irish meeting this year, which would be held on the weekend of the 22nd July.
Outbound Friday 22nd return Monday 25th.
This message is aimed more towards the mainland Brits at the moment, simply because the ferry and the digs are cheaper and plentiful at this time of year.

I'm in, thanks kev

I will be looking at extending the trip, either before or after the weekend, for a continued explore of the rest of the island.

Anybody else up for that?

I'll be there. Can't miss this one.

I'm also looking at extending the trip, but might bring the van and Mrs and make it our main holiday of the summer, as I did with the Scotland trip last year with a week in the outer Hebrides between the NI and Scotland meets.

Yeah, I'm probably up for extending the trip, let's see what kind of response we get and take it from there.

Put my down as a solid maybe, dependent on details costs etc and more importantly if the wife will let me, she's usually delighted to see the back of me for a few days so it shouldn't be a problem.
I've now gone all European and bought a KTM Superduke GT and Aprilia RSV1000R :D ,
Storm is now gone  .

To keep you up to date with my plans.
When me and Adam leave the cottage on the Monday, we will be stopping on, and going over to a place called Sligo, I've booked a place there from Monday though till Wednesday, leave for return ferry Thursday.

There's now a possibility that I'll be able to join you, if so we'll sort our own accommodation. Might move our summer holiday to those dates and put the bike in the back of the van while touring in West Ireland with t'wife.

If so I can meet up with you guys for the Saturday run at least.

I'll have a look at ferry cost and accommodation at the weekend.
