Weird issue with the forum/Tapatalk?

Hi chaps, I haven't been able to post for a few days due to an issue with Tapatalk (the app which makes using the forum on your phone really easy).

I've tried uninstalling the app and signing out, updating etc etc and I'm still experiencing this issue.

It's a load of strange text, which appears every time I log in, even on the desktop site.

Anyone find this problem? Have you worked out a way to clear it?

I have been getting the same debug error messages on the top of the screen when I use the forum on both desktop and iPad.. So it's not just your login and set up.
Good thing is it doesn't Stop you using toe forum, it just looks weird when you Log in

I have the same on my PC.

It started a few days ago when the Aliens landed with the new covid variant...

I mean after a windows update... Strange thing is it only affects the forum no other web page...

+1 here. I Pad, I phone and laptop. Doesn’t appear to effect usability though.

Its a site problem not a user problem... Something not playing nice in the PHP... Site is running php8.0.14 so has recently been updated and the previous update was only a few weeks before that. Sometimes when updating something isn't overwritten properly or deleted properly and then scripts can play up. Job for the webmaster.

Thanks Jamie for the heads-up. I have left a message for the Forum owner. I did look into it when it started happening first of all, but as nobody had posted up about it I didn't think it was causing any problems as such,

Thanks for the replies chaps, glad it's not just myself experiencing the issue - that means I don't need a new phone

The forum works fine if used via the desktop site (which is a pita on my phone - I don't really have a working computer, only a tablet with a keypad).

Only real issue is with Tapatalk. The text seems to override all other functions, rendering it impossible to view or use the forum via Tapatalk.

Not a big problem, just a pain for navigating the site on a small screen.

On Tapatalk, you can't get the text out of the way. It's a stubborn git.

I have the same problem as you Jamie, but I use Tapatalk for a couple of other forums and it works fine, so I’m assuming it’s vtr1000.org issue.
