Didn't think they were a fine thread, could be wrong though.
They don't need a high torque and there's plenty of material to grip to, so enough threads can engage.
It's not falling off, it's an upgrade opportunity.

Pretty sure they're standard M10 coarse, which means a 1.5mm pitch (1.75mm is the standard pitch for M12 coarse). Coarse threads are the right choice for in a soft material like aluminium alloy.

i tried to screw in 10mm bolt wont work i believe japs dont use coarse thread on larger bolts dont ask me why but normal bolt only just moved into thread so unless you force it stripping bolt and bolt hole its no go

Just measure how many threads there in a 10mm length of the old bolt, that will tell you the pitch. If there are ten then it's 1mm pitch, etc

The Japanese certainly do use standard coarse threads; I have just replaced the bolts in the top yoke with standard M8 studs - they screwed straight in.

What does help is to gently run a tap through the threaded hole. You should feel the difference between a tap cleaning corrosion and crap out of a thread and a tap actually trying to cut a different pitch. A tap will remove any fouling, screwing a bolt in will just compact it.

yup 6-8mm are normal thread. 10 and above fine thread please believe before you wrack through lower yoke bolts and please dont run a tap through them. i worked as motorcycle fitter and know 10mm bolts are fine thread
