Anyone live near........

Post by RQ »

Thornton Cleveleys?? (have no idea where that is)

There is a bloke selling a Corbin saddle for the Bird there, and if anyone lives near it that might have a look at it for me before I part with hard earned cash can you pm me!!

Cheers!!!!

Got the pics all right Kaz, only thing is that he only has racked up one single post on the BB site, and I have nothing to gauge him on!! ie, I could send off my draft and never hear anything again if you know what I mean!!

Where I was going with it was that if there was a regular on this site living near there I'd send the money to them and ask them to collect and send the seat on to me (me covering all collection / postal costs of course!)

You hear of too many people finding out the hard way that it's easy fool a fool!!

Ask if he takes paypal. You can get your cash back off them if theres problems with the sale.

I just had a look (too much time on my hands). The paypal buyer protection only works with ebay. So unless he sells it on ebay you'd be taking a chance with paypal. :(

I've just had an update from my better half, who knows a lot more about this that I do and is keeping me right about all this stuff, if the seller has an upgraded paypal account he can accept credit cards which will give you buyer protection.

Of course, if he dosnt have paypal then this is all fu@king pointless

Cheers for that Sparky, I've decided to bit the bullet and take the chance with him. Seems a reasonable bloke, a retired fireman and I have his address which checks out!! Thanks for the offer though!
