Standard size piston rings

Post by BillyBear »

Good evening fellow FireStormers,

I am in the process of a 2003 engine rebuild and I am have no luck in finding a set of standard size piston rings. Even spoke to Honda dealers today and was told you need to buy a set of new pistons and the rings come with them

If anyone could guide in the right direction to source a set your help would be greatly appreciated.

No, you can buy piston rings on their own.
Talk to David Silvers.
It's not falling off, it's an upgrade opportunity.

Don't know where you are located but I have ordered piston rings with no issue

As Tony says https://www.davidsilverspares.co.uk/ for the UK

Or in the USA https://www.ronayers.com/oemparts/c/hon ... ycle/parts

And as Mike (8541Hawk) says about the availability, both of the above list rings only, although David Silver will have to order them in for you, but at least they are still available,

Chris.
