Hello-nearly goodbye

Post by ItsaKeeper »

Hello everyone

I was about to trade in my 03 storm but came to my senses at the last minute and that has made me want to join this forum and put a stake in the VTR camp.

Bought my storm 8 years ago, excellent standard nick, ultra low miles and no desire to go mad on it. So it's staying around for a while longer to save me seller's regret, as has happened so many times before.

Have been impressed with the help available on the forum, long reign the storm!

welcome to the Forum, glad to hear you came to your senses

I must admit I dont ride the storm as often as the KTM, but I could never face selling it, or stripping it for all the good bits

I really like the storm, had an SP1 about 20 years ago but it was a bit too hectic for me, much calmer on the storm and I am not in that much of a hurry these days.

Funny you mention KTM as I had a 690 Duke which falls into the category of seller's regret :D

Welcome. We all have bikes that we regret selling. For me it was an XL650 Paris Dakar rep with twin headlights. Funny enough I don't feel regret over my Castrol SP2, apart from how much money they cost now. I also miss my GS, but the XL really hurts.

I'm pleased you have come to your senses. It's a lovely bike, they do look lovely in blue.

Enjoy it.
No bike (yet).

There's a room spare at the Inn on the Loch site, that'd save you a ride home afterwards and you could join in the whole weekend.
It's not falling off, it's an upgrade opportunity.

Sounds tempting but I don't have the whole weekend free, I am looking forward to getting there for the Saturday ride.
