A few years back I spent some time playing with airbox volume, intake stacks, cams, gasflowing heads, over size valves and high compression pistons to see where it led me. I dyno'd each change to see what effect it had, and I found that there are no magic 5hp gains to be had by changing stacks on their own.

I posted it all up on this forum with Dyno evidence, to share the results.

If anyone has definitive before and after evidence that simply changing stacks gives anywhere near that figure I'll be happy to look at the Dyno charts.
But un-evidenced claims should be taken with a spoonful of skepticism, in my view.

Of course, you're free to spend your money on anything that makes you happy👍

Re Starters, try Marty, he usually has a few available and does a good job.
It's not falling off, it's an upgrade opportunity.

Im not trying to be a snake oil salesman....and Im not trying to make a quick buck.
Ok there arent big gains to be had..but they sure should be better than standard circumcised bellmouths.
The bell mouths I have are both the same length..and I have pics from a Jap specialist site with Mori carbs with equal lengths.

On another note..Anyone who owns an early Volkswagen camper needs rehab.😀
