Blue flames are now back on, running great with the secondhand carbs off ebay they have done the trick. (not sure what jets are in them just fitted and they work) very little popping and running sweet, TPS done this morning was 849 ohms now 560 but no more adjustment left, so will leave at that to see the effect of the adjustment.
Checked carb sync are in tolerance ticking over at 1100-1000rpm so happy the advice and informative posts on this forum have have been invaluable

Going to strip carbs that came off, they supposedly had Dyno stage 1 mod also now running std air filter as AMCQ46 suggested a while back.

Great ride out over Alston way, the TPS adjustment has made a very noticeable improvement this is evident at lower speeds first gear transition to 2nd is smoother, no carb farts and less vibration.
Do feel that have lost a little mid range (previous carbs stage 1 dyno jet ?) but so smooth now its worth it, over winter project focus sorting a few cosmetic issue after it rolled of the side stand a couple of months ago :(

I doubt you lost any power. I would say it is more likely that you fixed a dip in the power band, so it might not "feel" like it is making the same power as it isn't pulling out of the dip.

Fair point :) its so smooth now across the range i reckon your right. Its was unstable at lower revs to the point you felt the need to declutch when turning at slow speed occasional it would fart or stall and the pickup was lumpy. This did not instill confidence around town but was fine when out of town.

For all the great info Guy's a virtual beer  or two
