Chris I've learned in life that the best mod you can make to a bike or a car is the driver or in this case the rider.
Time to spend the money on me so I can truly enjoy what my build has to offer and ride the steed off into the sunset. 😎👍

Thought I'd look at a Cafe Racer to do up, then remembered I've got one. So I'll do that 😁

well its winter again so may as well restart this thread

my winter project is to give the Storm some love.

its already on the workbench, but the list is:
1) service the shock & 10% lower rate spring
2) service the steering damper
3) strip & check the carbs
4) fit a flow commander that I inherited (had to order the air jet fittings from USA, so that wasnt cheap!)
5) strip and repack the REMUS cans
6) tidy up or replace the wiring harness after seeing what was under the silver duct tape from the alarm removal conducted before the bike came into my care.
7) try and tidy up the battery connections for all the auxiliary items like GPS, Heated Grips, headlight direct power feed (eastern Beaver kit), Battery Charger, USB charger. looking for a nice neat and small junction box so I can have 1 wire from the battery terminal, and then connect all the other fused wires to the junction box.

but unfortunately I just cant be arsed going to the garage when I get home! :?

I fitted the Eastern beaver junction box to my Storm a few years back, I highly recommend it!

This winter, I had planned on learning to weld so I can fabricate a subframe on the Stormy. But, I think I'll do the donkey work and get someone with experience to weld it up.

So hopefully this winter:

New back end on Stormy

Mot

Possible respray

All money dependent of course! My back is still stopping me from working the volume I'd like to.
