Is there anyone in the Northants area that would like to sort my CCTs without wombles me timing? I ain't bought owt yet but see I can get the originals off ebay. Or can someone mod my originals? My VTR has 47k miles on originals and I'm thinking just how long will they hold out.
Hit me with some prices for parts & fitting please.
If at first you don't succeed - tools down and go for a ride.

All depends on how good of an international plan you have..... Though I'm sure one of the local guys will be along soon to help you out

8451 Hawk, Unrelated to CCT's but, I guess I don't post enough to PM you. It would be great to contact you as I fell out of touch after you left Cali. and the SH Forum.

Is there a lifespan for the ccts?
Can they go at say 10K as much as at 50K?

They just go when they go, it doesn't seem to be mileage related. I fitted replacement standard ones, one failed 18 months later...
After that I registered on the forum.
It's not falling off, it's an upgrade opportunity.

Only joshing ya Gilson... happy to help, glad Law & Shaun can get together & sort it out...

As for the honda tech...Typical be happy to charge you £400 parts & labour to fit a known 'fragile' componant & then rape you silly with parts & labour all over again when the motor sh1t's itself...

Done 1000s of miles on manuals with no damage to my engine...Repatedly falling off it ...? well thats diffrent
