There are no official safety requirements when it comes to Engineering/Tinkering and this particular hot beverage - continue as originally planned.

Stay hydrated!
It was rejected by the patient!
No consent, so couldn't get the line in to the vein.
Currently, we're still having to consume the beverage orally.

Wife's improving now.

Looking forward to getting my Covid jab.
They should definitely issue some sort of ID card for people to show they are safe to hang around with.
They could call it the Vaccine Immunisation Passport, everyone would be a VIP card holder after a few months, except the conscientious objectors and religious weirdos, who can stay the hell out of my local!

Work have finaly cottened on the the fact that sending us to 60+ houses a week, could be a bit of an issue re covid.

With the new Lockdown rules from Tomorrow, we will be back to emergencies only. Rats in properties (very rare..) & Cockroaches in boilers (very common..)

Apparently this time will be a rota 3 days on.

Someone else has pulled the short straw...

So no work for me tommorow...

Will find out tommorow when I'm next in.

Good news! 100% of politicians, their friends and their families have been innocculated within one day of the vaccine becoming available.

Now for everybody else, at some stage, when it's convenient.

Another brilliant idea, though I say it myself, is getting deliveries from local breweries via a food delivery service.

Working title:
Deliverbroo

That's another million made...

Dose anyone know of a good 'How to organise a pish up in a brewrey' book/guide ?

I was in work yesterday, only 8 jobs finished & onway home by 11.30.

Gets up just before the alarm @05.OH fek.

I can download the days work on me tablet thingy but after several tries between 6 & 7am no work appears.

So I txt me manager & one of the other techs. He txt back saying he has work...nothing from the manager... So...

I went back to bed...Zzzz's 09.30 the phone pings with a txt from the manager, ' No work for you today but be in on Monday, have a good weekend'

I refraind from txting back 'Thanks for letting me know you bell end...'

A polite OK will suffice...

Am in the office all next week, starting tomorrow, apart from Thursday when I have a prostate related blood test. Bad time for riding bikes (-1 here) and cancer treatments both, fingers crossed the PSA is okay.
I'm so unlucky that if there is such a thing as re-incarnation I'll come back as me!

So work have set up a covid testing site in the canteen.

They have closed the canteen until further notice.

No biggie for me I think in the 10 years Iv'e worked there I've had one Coffee from the machine, gastly...& one bacon sarnie it was ok but I've had better.

Anyhoo it's a walk in job, sign in & get a card & two barcode stickers, go to a cardbord cut out window & get told to blow your nose then get passed a swab.

You swap the back of your mouth either side of your tonsils then swab one nostril & pass the swab back into a plastic test tube.

He says to me 'there's a mirror there if you need it...' A bit of stick on silver plastic which for some reason was stuck to the wall about level with me groin...  Fek knows how thats supposed to help you see your tonsils...

As is the norm these days there is a QR code thing on the card which you scan with your phone which is only any good if you have a smart phone... Which I don't.

So had to log on via the PC at home & after about 30 mins entering this & that...I got sent me results...

All clear... Shame as I was hoping for a bit of isolation...
