Getting my new rear tyre fitted once I got up to Scotland.
My ex brother in law is mobile tyre fitter. Kind of keeping money in the family.

Ireland was a great laugh, but there was a problem with public toilets

Image

Then we had to come home.

So after the Irish section of the trip, Kev, Adam, mark and I waved goodbye to Grumpyfrog and Tony Mon and we headed to the highlands to do the NC 500.

Kev and Adam put the storm
In the van but mark and I continued north on bikes.

This was the small ferry from
Gourock to Dunoon where we stopped on the way up.
Not much going on there!

And spotted this beast in fort William.

Image

Then up to Invergordon to stay at Tatties cottage.

Image

Where the oil rigs come in for repair.

Image

To be continued.

But back tracking to Ireland. I didn’t take enough photos there, so others will need to add theirs.

Fabio is the puncture queen …. it was his bike [the durodorsa] in Scotland last year that had the puncture too

but if we look Back at Fabios history on Operation Storms, it is getting close to Tony for unreliability!!

1st year in Scotland, his chain joining link was close to failing and somebody spotted it when we stopped for petrol. so we had to do a detour to find a new split link and then borrow a lot of hammers to do the repair

then 2 yrs ago his brake pad locating pins nearly fell out, again somebody spotted it and disaster was averted

1 year ago a puncture - 2 goes to get it repaired

then the puncture this year

I am sure there are a growing number of photos on here of Fabio on his knees looking at his wheels
