Sometimes that's the best way. I did a solo run out yesterday. Really relaxing. Go as fast as you like, go as slow as you like, stop when you like.
Had a chat with a KTM SM rider who insisted he was "unbeatable in the twisties". Silly boy was going the same way as me....

Me too.Rode like an old woman and resisted all temptations for an experiment,and went 127 miles from fuel light to fuel light.
