BP Aylsham road norwich

Post by bazzashadow »

what do you think?
I was out sunday on my bike and went to fill up as we do
and as I went to pay this bloke was coming out and held the door for me,
as I walked in and towards the checkout the lady behind the counter was removing a plain white credit sized card out of the card machine.
I paid with cash and walk out and told the bloke what I had sore, and told him to check his bank account.
we have had a local BP clone cards before in Norfolk.
I have wrote to BP expressing my concerns and they have said its not really to do with them it to do with motor fuel limited
do you think it was suspect?
or me being paranoid ?

BP handed the message on to the garage owners and they have replied that it is a machine cleaner :whatever

How To Clean A Credit Card Reader >

From my understanding of skimming they'd copy the card's data and note the matching PIN and with that data produce the fake cards elsewhere - not knock out copies immediately in public view.
It may be that your whole purpose in life is simply to serve as a warning to others.

I did not think they was making a copy card straight away, but just getting the card information.
I did not know what they was doing but I have never seen it before and they must be able to get your info from somewhere

I think it was a good call to report it if you thought it was suspicious.... Too many people just ignore warning signs and assume others will look after them.

Yes, but a criminal fraud theft person is probably not going to put up signs warning you that they're doing it.
That would be silly.
It's not falling off, it's an upgrade opportunity.
