Hey Chris why can I see light through the front air vents. Are you missing some plastic from the inside of the fairings. Iv'e been eyeballing the 3" and 4" Apex Risers. They are seriousley teasing me but I'm going to hold off for now. Iv'e spent far too much already.
Those air vent plastics are designed by me to give less restriction
Only joking, they are standard, it must be the angle the photo was taken showing light through them like that. Trust you to spot that

I'm surprised it's almost 12mths ago I did this handlebar conversion
Hi, Just fitted the high Rental bar conversion and had had to buy a remote res clutch due to the rise. It also mentions in the original post "fitting 3mm steering lock stops." Does anyone have any more information? How this was done ? any images? Thanks fellow Stormers.
There are several ways to fit lockstops.
You can simply araldite a 3mm packing piece onto the existing lockstops which you will find on the lower yoke.
A bit more professional would be to drill and tap, wind in a small bolt and grind the head down to the required thickness.
A permanent solution would be to grind off the lockstops, drill vertically and tap and fit cap head Allen screws instead in the required location, which is what I did.
It's not falling off, it's an upgrade opportunity.

I've been meaning to add a couple of photo's, so I took some
I used a Contact Adhesive to fix the steering stops in place, I preferred that to Araldite as you don't need to secure the stops in place waiting for the glue to go off, although that side of it is up to you.
I fitted my stops when the fairing was off.
Out of interest how did you go about attaching a remote clutch reservoir

Hi, thanks for guidance, done the stops people recommend. I have ordered a remote lever and master cylinder from a Bandit . Gives me options . Thanks
Okay, thanks for your reply. You'll have to post up some photo's when you've finished your bar conversion,
Hi, purchased some R6 Mirrors they work fine also the whole levers and master from a Bandit. Any will fit but I don’t think all had a clutch slave so as long as it does.... sorted

Thanks for the info on the levers and master cylinders, I've found them on Ebay now

Where did you get your bar riser from for your conversion?
Thanks Brock.
I have searched my back-ups and found the pic's which I have now re-attached in my post on page (1) for you and anyone else who might be glad to see them
I have written in that post where I found my bar risers:-
Anything I need to watch out for? Can get spacers from work to bring the steering stoppers in, but I'm still unsure about location of the clutch and brake reservoirs.
Is it possible to get remote ones? Or extend them inwards somewhat?
