Found one for a steal. It is a 17 x 550 smp forged rim for 260 dollars us abouts. From what I can find It was made for a hyabusa but im not sure.
My question is of fitment. I am not worried about axle diamiter so much as it being a rim for something with a smaller engine. Anyone want to ward me off from this one. My tire is getting bald and I dont want to shell out for a tire that wont fit the rims I want to put on the bike. Rim comes with the cush and bearings.
Talk me out of it.

Just found out today that rim was for a storm its re listing for double.... Oh well im happy with what I got.

Can't you just get a new or decent condition 180/55 ZR17 to replace the worn and potentially dangerous tyre you're currently using through winter / rain / snow.
It may be that your whole purpose in life is simply to serve as a warning to others.
