Cheap Tank Protectors

I've been looking for some protectors as my leathers are marking the tank (no biggie, but would be good if I can avoid this).

Mainstream items range from £10-40.

I bought a pair of car dashboard protectors (which co-incidentally are exactly the same as a phone mount product I bought a few years ago).
£1.19 each. I cut down and may shape later on.
If you don't want them on, or they need a clean, just pull off and the reapply!
Yes they're quite small, but prevented the marking so job done (and I didn't want anything too big) and at this price I'm very happy

I've been out for a 9 hour blast and they didn't move at all and are perfect! (were even removed/reapplied in-transit so really flexible)

You can't go wrong with stomp grips ! About £25 a set . They come in black or clear .

I bought genuine Sp2 Stompgrips, but they just won't stick, so they're going in the bin and some cheap ones will go on to see if they use better glue... We'll see.

that's odd tony, I fitted original stompgrips, the glue was super bloody stick, to the point that i'm worried if I ever have to remove them, they'll take the paint with em lol

They slide about during a ride, they simply don't stay stuck on and in the concave sections, where my knees go in normal riding, they just lift off the paint.

I've had good experiences with them previously, but not this time.

I fitted the universal Stomp grips on mine,,,,, they work great but beware if you are wearing jeans and you land a big wheelie gripping the tank to stop smacking your gonads on impact...............I had stompgrip patterned bruises on the inside of my thighs 8O
