The tank on my bike was rusted so badly I could not use it.
Needed painted to so I picked up this tank on eBay for little money.
Even had to drill the lock as there was no key!!!
Anyway left it in a while ago to be repaired and painted. Picked it up today. It was ready last week but I wasn't happy with decal placement or size really. It had been lacquered so had to be redone and this is the result
Had to get the bins in at the end!
I'm very happy with the result. Black decals other deep blue may seem like a strange contrast but it's in keeping with the bike as a whole.

eeeek!!!, I wouldn't go balancing my freshly painted fuel tank on a wall, and i'd have to have a nice comfy blanket underneath it to protect the paint... :thumbup
