Top nut

Post by chris vtr virgin »

Would any one be able to tell me the correct size socket I need to tighten up the nut at the top of the stem
I'm in the middle of changing to taperd bearings, I had to undo it with a shifter but forgot to measure the size of said nut
Cheers in advance

Just checked my 1998 and the socket size is 30mm (or you can just about get away with a 1 3/16")
If you've over-cooked it, just lean it over more.
