Re: Quill exhaust
There the best sounding cans I've ever heard.
They are louder than most but it's a deep soft dirty sound .
When you look at it run it up to temp and if the cans (especially the left one) gets hot near the link pipe it needs repacking.

Re: Quill exhaust
Are they worth repacking or just replacing.

Re: Quill exhaust
Don't replace them that's crazy !!! Repacking them is easy and cheap and it quietens them down a treat

Re: Quill exhaust
On top exhaust tip there is a m6 but and bolt holding what I think is the baffle.

Re: Quill exhaust
That sounds about right Dan. If you do do require drilling rivets out for a repack note that they are gas tight stainless rivets and will require a good drill bit.

If repacking it may require the removal of the opposite end cap if you want to get the perforated tube out.
