Can someone let me know what tubes need to be connected to the new 19l tank? I'll post pictures in a second of the fuel tap that was fitted. When taking off the old tank, I only remember three tubes coming off, two large and a smaller one.

IIRC there's one outlet on the 19L tank which goes to a remote tap system mounted on the frame (not the bottom of the tank) before heading off to the carbs.

The tank I have has been fitted with a "Varadero" tap. Am I to assume this is from a different bike?

yes mate,it's more or less the same as a normal 19ltr tank spigot/tap, but it's better than the standard fuel spigot/tap, because it allows you to turn the fuel off....

Tank is hooked up but the engine doesn't seem to be getting fuel. There is a suction sound when opening the tank after running it. Suggestions? Sorry, didn't get a picture of the hose connections.

Check that the tank's breather vent isn't blocked.

Is that the hole on the top next to the main filler hole?

And it should output from the bottom of the tank to the left of the tap - and then connect to hose that leads to the belly pan area.

Get an airline and compressor to give it a light blast through in case it got clogged when the tank was resprayed.

With that gravity fuel flow set up make sure the vacuum take offs on the cylinders are plugged.

Also is the fuel tap turned on?

The two big hoses are connected correctly. That leaves a small hose connection and a slightly bigger hose connection. I connected the vacuum hose to the small hose connection. Is that right? Is the slightly larger hole the vent? After trying to run it, there is a hissing noise when opening the gas cap. If these connections are correct, maybe I have the tap in the off position?

You shouldn't need to connect the vacuum hose to the varadero fuel tap / or tank as the fuel flow through the tap is gravity fed. Just plug the vacuum hose with a golf tee or bolt.

Might be an idea to see if fuel is flowing through the tap... and make sure the tank isn't compressing the fuel hoses when dropped down.

The two hose connectors on the base of the tap are the tank breather and overflow drain, and as mentioned earlier hoses should connect on and exit towards the front nr the the belly pan.
