VFR swinger and powder coated wheels

Post by mattycoops43 »

Hi there.

Just posting this on behalf of my mate Bex, She used to have a storm till it got stolen :( Before it got nicked she bought a VFR single side swing arm, had it modified to clear a standard storm exhaust (a small wedge cut out and replaced with thick ali sheet. and had a pair of wheels blasted and powder coated. They never made it onto the bike before it was nicked.

She is having a clear out and I offered to put them on here. It's genuine and she's a good friend of mine. She is looking for around £250 which is less than it cost to do. Powder coated and never fitted, the wheels are mint. Swinger has not been coated.

They are at her parents which is Nottingham way, and she is at Uni in Cardiff, living in Swansea, so I would think collection from either would be possible.

Any interest, pm me and I will send you her number.

That would make a cool addition to someone's Storm.

I was going to have them, but I have my heart set on orange wheels and it seems such a waste of money to get them blasted again and recoated. only reason i said no.

I used a great company near the big Amazon Building for my wheels powder coated Gold but he had a few colours to choose from. It was meant to be £60 per wheel but he had a delay in a new 50k machine turning up so did the pair for the £120! That's near the Amazon in Swansea..Real good firm too, I will have to dig out the name but a proper Industry Surfaces or something like that..Top job, family firm.

And she had to talk him up from £45 all in.

Still, the more you pay, the better the bling factor.
