Seb,
I don't know too much about the Falco but why don't you volenteer to do the test rides for him.
As much as he is probably keen to try them, I can't imagine he would haave any idea of what a bike should feel or go like with the lack of expriance he has.
Surely you could put it across in such a way he won't be affended  too much! :D
My new ride is a bit of a Howler and I love to make her Squeal

Always loved the Falco. As a real-world sportbike, I think it would be a worthy replacement (possibly even better) than the VTR...... Throw a 1060 kit in there and Bob`s your uncle.... lol

Wash your mouth out young man! :D

I'd have a Falco, if not the storm ;)

I encountered this problem when looking a bikes. One shop wouldnt let me test ride a bike unless I had signed to buy the bike.

nah why not?

only a bit more umph than a storm and the thousand twins are a lot easier than a race rep 600 to ride around

That's very true. But I would stick him on a 400 jap import or a cb500 or something to begin with. Has he any riding experiance.

He can come and test ride my storm if he'll buy it, might be a bit far to come though

Falco is a Mille engine in a different chassis, It's a good bike, the engine should put out between 106 and 112 rwhp. Fit a power commander and pipes it should go up approx. 5-8hp, the Rotax engines they use seem to vary in power from one bike to another but not many owners would feel the difference. The engines are quite aggressive in their power delivery, if he's got a sensible head and gets used to rather than going made with no experience he'll get along with it fine, if he's a brain out know it all type then get something a bit softer for a first bike.

Looks like an upgraded VTR with a TL1000 tail I reckon ;)
What's that bloody TV screen/mud guard hanging on the back? Is this showing cartoons for the kids in the cars behind?
Are the number plates grew even bigger or is it just my imagination?

Cheers
