Rear Swingarm Parts

Post by gl_s_r »

It's a bit of a long shot but wanted to ask if anyone has these parts laying around doing nothing and would consider selling them?

I have added a link to help explain what I am after and it's parts 1,2,13,16,2x17's and lastly the dog bone itself number 9

http://www.bike-parts-honda.com/pieces- ... STORM.html

Thanks in advance if you can help

Mark

I'll offer myself to you if you want to part with them? You will not even need to break into your own lube, I'll bring me own.

Cheers lads,

Geoff, managed to get hold of a dog bone yesterday so not too worry. Thanks for the offer though and would have had it if I'd not got that one yesterday.

Thanks again Lloydie, they will be cleaned and painted so no worries.

Don't know if it's me getting tight but went to order the two long bolts that go through these plates, the two nuts, plus one that goes through the shock and I felt ill!

Would you think £27 was about right for that or am I being tight over three bolts and three nuts?

How much 8O no your not being tight, it's called rip off Britain. It never ceases to amaze me the prices of things these days. Did you get them direct from Honda.

You could have made them cheaper.

I Thought tha same Mark, I was lucky enough to get some good second hand ones from VTRPIG

It seems quite expensive for what they are.

I found the rollerbearings & Oil Seals on ebay cheaper than David Silver if that helps.

I got all the bearings and seals etc no problems from a local place but thought I would get the bolts new as I think it's something I would just have to get as it's not something most people would have.. The nuts alone were £2.75 each.

Just got to bite bite the bullet I suppose and get them ordered but just holding off as I begrudge paying it.
