Have a look on ebay at the competition. I sold a 1999 this year for £2250 similar mileage, so if I were you I'd aim high, closer to £3000. No point in starting low mate, 2005's dont come along often.

I could say how long is a piece of string for the most accurate price, but to be sensible at a guess I would say 2500-3000 is about right but best to check the Wisebuyers guide. At the end of the day if the right person comes along that falls in love with the bike and has the money they will pay whatever you ask. It would take a bit longer though, so if you want a quick sale you have to be prepared to go lower.

Agree £2500-3000, esp with the akra's, you'll need a buyer that understands the benefits of the later model as some think they're worth the same regardless of year, but yours is 8 years newer than the first model, with bigger tank and nice cans, I'd put it up for £2999 and look to take at least £2800 for it.

There is a nice red one at Jordans bikes in Leeds, I have looked at it and it is mint with 12k miles and full Honda history, the dealer will take 3k cash for it, so yours must be worth 2.5k private or 2k trade, this sounds crap I know but it is unfortunately real, you could hold out for more but the ones I have looked at with big price tags are still for sale some up to 12 months after, so if its a quick sale you are after be prepared to be insulted. :sad2

Good luck with a sale, price-wise I agree with most of what's already been said.

What are you intending to replace the Firestorm with :?: that is if you are replacing her of course :)

Chris.
