Which Exhaust?
Which Exhaust?
My cans valve is wombles now the squeaking is doing my head in so looking for other options
Which one of these to pick from?
can't make up my mind as i like them both, both are road legal one is cheaper
TAGMA SILENCERS
GSXR SPECIFIC Celebrating 25 years of the legendary Suzuki GSX-R series. Designed exclusively for the Worlds favourite hooligan machine, TAGMA is a genuine 'works' product originally conceived for road racing but now homologated as fully road legal. Hand crafted fused segmented steel pipe work is a work of art; ballistic performance gains and guttural soundtrack the work of the devil!

This GP one sounds a lot better from the sound files, think it will be similar to a racefit growler? but makes less power than the Tagma type
RP-1 GP SILENCERS
Our Flagship RP-1 GP system is currently our most potent exhaust; complete with a distinguished 'RED POWER' tip inlay. Completely hand crafted from featherlight aerospace titanium and carbon fibre. RP-1 GP has been developed to give tangible 'bolt-on' performance advantages, with strong power gains throughout the power curve and huge weight savings over O.E. The hand made 'works' finish and the unmistakable race bike soundtrack will confirm the performance potential of this system. Designed primarily for race/trackday use, this no-compromise race grade exhaust is incidentally road legal...

Re: Which Exhaust?
Was looking at them but for my 1000 looking for something road legal out of the box as i will get stopped and bitched at by the neighbours with my 3am arrival home time
at least I can say it's 100 percent road legal then when anyone complained
The racefit doesn't include vat or delivery and doesn't include a baffle out of the box

Re: Which Exhaust?
Personally I prefer the second one but TI would look better. I'm not a fan of the conical shape outlet on the first one. But if it was me I would go for the Racefit's too but then my neighbours don't matter, they are noisy fookers and give as good as they get. How about some Yoshi's?

That would be the best way to get the neighbours to go all 'Salem Witch Hunt' on you

Re: Which Exhaust?
Ti ones. If you get the. Cf ones it will just make you want to put more on. Think you bike looks better without cf.
Don't hassle me
I'll get there at some time

Re: Which Exhaust?
The valve is just for noise really on the K5, if you take the can off and look in the link pipe end you'll see the valve, can you not get in there and lube it somehow ?. if you do change cans then be very careful with the cables, if you do it right no probs but if you move the servo with the cables it'll show a fault code. Easy fix by a dealer they just plug a switch in to reset it or on gixerjunkies someone will tell you which wires to bridge to do the same thing.
I like the first scorpion pictured it should come with instructions about how to remove the valve cables too.

Re: Which Exhaust?
seb, do what my mate did with his k8 and purchase the racefit growler, it will make your bike sound like a formula one car.........
it might grab the attention of plod tho, although my mate has never been pulled by plod with his on.
they sound awesome and your nieghbours will hate your guts on the morning shifts.......

HEY YOU GUYS!!!!!!
Re: Which Exhaust?
If you get the racefit your neighbours WILL complain! They are exceptionally well made though.
I took mine off the blade, benny has it now and I believe he loves it
Was too loud for me although I did run it without a baffle.
That first scorpion one looks the part imo.
