well me and my very good friend got round to fixing the plastics today i didnt realise how bad they were until i took them off :crazy: he used some metal staples that melt into the plastic they work a treat! ImageImageImageImage

Looking good mate, but it's the wrong colour....should have been red. :beer:

What panel was it that was cracked?

it is he is such a legend he fixed and resprayed every panel on my bike on a nice sunny day and didnt want any money for doing it! i just about managed to force £40 into his hand he really is a top lad i would be buggerd without him :thumbup:

The finish on the paint looks good :thumbup: Not seen that methord of repairing plastics before. Looks like it makes for a good repair though.

Hot staples... staple heats up.. you push it into the plastic and then twist it around a bit. Once cooled you trim off the bits sticking out. The good thing is it works with all plastics where as some plastics won't weld using the soldering iron/heat gun methods.
