It may be that your whole purpose in life is simply to serve as a warning to others.

Register with the Tom Tom website, plug you Tom Tom in via USB and download the free maps and stuff directly on to it

[edit] create an account that is not register the tom tom as such[/edit]

I dont have a TomTom, but my dad does, and I bought him an SD card for it as he wanted a bigger one to fit all the Europe maps on too.

You can go to the TomTom site and download what you need.

Go here:

http://www.tomtom.com/en_gb/maps/latest ... /#tab:tab2

Click the link that is for you, either TomTom home if your model isnt shown, or the top link if it is.

Their software will be installed on your PC and will install the maps to the SD card for you.
